Pull up your own website on your phone and go through this list. If you can’t tick most of these in a few seconds, your customers can’t either.

• The text is readable without pinching or zooming.
• Your hours are visible near the top of the page.
• Your phone number or contact link can be tapped.
• Your address opens a map with one tap.
• The menu, price list or services are on the page, not stuck in a PDF.
• Buttons are big enough to tap with a thumb.
• The page loads in a few seconds on mobile data.
• The browser shows a padlock, not “Not secure”.
• The copyright year at the bottom is current.
